What’s New for Enve for 2026?
Avid cyclists are likely familiar with the Enve name. For years, Enve has been a leading supplier of carbon components and wheels, and it expanded its offerings to include bicycles in 2021. In October 2024, we published an article reviewing their bicycle range, which you can find here. So, what can we expect from Enve in 2026?
New Wheels
Enve already had a strong wheel lineup. Recently, Enve added a redesigned entry-level wheel and a cutting-edge Pro-level wheel, more advanced than anything they had offered previously.
Enve AR40 Wheels
Enve’s latest product is the redesigned AR40 Foundation wheel, designed for both road and gravel use. It features a rim depth of 40 mm and a modern internal width of 25 mm, making it comfortable on various surfaces. The wheel is aerodynamically optimized for 700x27mm tubeless tires, but it can accept tires up to 700x50mm.
Priced at $1400 a pair and weighing 1515 grams, the AR40 wheelset is well-positioned in the entry-level carbon wheel category. The AR40 Foundation wheel follows the visual cues of the rest of Enve’s lineup, making it look like the higher-end SES wheels.
Enve SES Series Wheels
A rider seeking higher performance and weight savings from the Foundation offerings should look to the SES series wheels. These wheels are built using the upgraded ENVE Premium Straight Pull hub. It features straight pull spokes to reduce weight and increase stiffness. The internals are built to higher tolerances and use lighter pawl springs to reduce friction during coasting.
There are four models of the SES wheels – the SES 2.3, SES 3.4, SES 4.5, and SES 6.7. The numbers in each model refer to the approximate rim depth of the front and back wheels. The deeper the rim, the more aerodynamic, but heavier the wheel. The lightest option, SES 2.3, weighs just under 1200 grams a pair. The deepest option, SES 6.7, weighs 1470 grams a pair. No matter the rim model/depth, all SES wheel sets retail for $ 2,850.
Enve SES 4.5 Pro
Enve’s most advanced wheelset is the new SES 4.5 Pro. Designed in collaboration with Tadej Pogacar and the UAE Emirates team, it is built to the highest standards in aerodynamics, weight, and bearing efficiency. This handmade wheel, produced in the USA, has already contributed to more than 25 World Tour victories. Its popularity is such that there is currently a 4-6 week wait to receive a pair. The 4.5 Pro wheel adds ceramic bearings and Alpina Ultralite Aero spokes to further reduce weight and rolling resistance compared to the SES 4.5. Weighing 1295 grams and selling for $3750, the SES 4.5 Pro is the pinnacle of ENVE’s wheel options.
Enve G23
Taking design cues from the SES series wheel, the G23 is Enve’s premium gravel wheel. It shares the ENVE Premium Straight-Pull hub and spokes with the SES series. Compared to the SES series, the G23 rim is built with a wider outer width, increasing its strength. The G23 is optimized for tire widths from 33mm to 45mm. Weighing just over 1300g and selling for $ 2,550 a pair, the G23 is an attractive wheel set for many gravel riders.
Enve Handlebars
Up front, Enve has introduced the SES AR One-Piece Carbon Handlebar. Based on the SES AR Custom One-Piece Handlebar. The SES AR One Piece Handlebar has fewer stem length options than the SES AR Custom Handlebar and is not quite as aerodynamic. This said, it costs significantly less, and, interestingly, in the 120mm stem/42cm width version, the standard version weighs 30 grams less than the custom version. If you choose one of these bars, remember that they require a specific computer mount and offer limited future adjustability. Having a bike fit with Fit Werx takes the guesswork out of choosing the correct bar/stem combination. We recommend riders have a firm understanding of sizing variables before selecting cockpit components.
What’s New in Enve’s 2026 Bikes
For 2026, Enve is expanding its factory-configured complete bike offerings to include SRAM Force AXS, in addition to the SRAM RED AXS option from last season. Enve offers three build option levels for each bike model. Each build features an Enve cockpit and wheels matched to the group. Additionally, each bike is offered as a frame-and-fork module, which allows us to build whatever a client is interested in and needs to achieve their riding position without compromise. Enve’s frames start at $4200, while complete bikes start at $8250.
Enve Custom Builder Feature
To complement the variety of build offerings, Enve has added the ability for consumers to create their own bike online. Follow the site’s prompts to choose all the customizable options, such as handlebars, wheels, and crank length. Once you have finished, you can save to a PDF to share with Fit Werx. If you are confident with your choices, we can order the bike for you. Alternatively, we can use that template to discuss the choices and potential alternatives to ensure you get the best possible outcome.
Color Updates
Enve, like many of the companies we work with, does not have model years. They update the colors and logos to keep things interesting for everyone. Here are their new colors for 2026. If you prefer one of the prior year’s colors, act quickly, as many sizes and colors are no longer available.
On January 29, Enve announced the new colors for their MOG. Coral, Aspen, and Recon Green.

On February 5, Enve released the new colors for the Fray. Perfect Purple, British Racing Green, and Clear Smoke.

On February 12, Enve released the new colors for the Melee. Iconic Red and Aspen White.
Which Bike is Right for Me?
Fit Werx was one of the pioneers of the rider-first philosophy. The best riding experience is achieved through a comprehensive fit that develops a unique, specific riding position tailored to you and your needs. When selecting a rider-matched bike, a fitting can be done with us, or you can provide information from another fitter for us to use to make recommendations. With this information, coupled with your riding goals, we can explain the advantages and considerations of different frames. Again, we don’t like guesswork.
To see a more comprehensive discussion about Enve’s frames, take a few minutes to read this post from the fall of 2024. It includes a link to a GCN podcast that compares the speed of a road bike and a gravel bike. The results are very interesting.
What Does a Bike Fit at Fit Werx Entail?
A Fit Werx bike fitting is a 2-4-hour comprehensive process that assesses not only your bike’s setup but also your muscle balance, posture, and technique. Each of these factors can contribute to comfort and performance issues. It includes saddle pressure mapping, right/left power readings and balance analysis, and uses motion capture software to assist in analyzing your position. Additionally, it includes postural and technique coaching to help you understand your role in becoming a faster and more comfortable rider. The goal is to develop a neutral, well-supported riding position and help you learn to maximize your technique and muscle recruitment to get the most out of that position.
When Should I Schedule a Fit Appointment
Anytime. We schedule bike fits all year. Riding a trainer through the winter is an excellent way to practice any technique suggestions made during the fit. Wait times for appointments increase as the weather changes and days get longer. Since each bike is built to an individual’s fit needs, there may be some lead time for delivery. The sooner it gets ordered, the sooner it can be delivered.
