Seminar – "How performance testing can maximize performance & what athletes must know about heart disease/health"

On Tuesday, February 11th, Fit Werx in Peabody, MA will host Dr. Aaron Baggish to discuss Performance Testing and how you can maximize performance and then touch upon what athletes must know about heart disease and health.

Dr. Baggish has been quoted in numerous articles discussing Heart Health for athletes including “Are you fit to race Triathlons?” which appeared in Triathlete Magazine.

About Dr. Baggish:

Dr. Aaron L. Baggish is the Associate Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Cardiovascular Performance Program, a program design to provide comprehensive cardiac care to athletes. His clinical practice, dedicated to the care of athletes and active individuals, serves people across the spectrum from elite professional / Olympic competitors to recreational athletes. He serves as a Co-medical director for the Boston Marathon and cardiologist for Harvard University Athletics, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Bruins. His research interests include exercise-induced cardiac remodeling, pre-participation screening / sudden death prevention, and the cardiovascular effects of anabolic steroid use.
