Fit Werx is proud to announce that we are now authorized dealers of one of the most storied brands of bikes in cycling – Eddy Merckx. No rider in the history of cycling dominated like the Cannibal and Eddy’s bicycle line today shows the same attention to detail and design that distinguished his riding and approach to equipment throughout his pro career. The Eddy Merckx line is doused with bikes that are designed around performance while not being singularly focused at the expense of the big picture. For example, the Mourenx 69 pictured (named after Eddy’s incredible Tour de France Stage 17 victory in Mourenx in ’69, where he finished almost 8 minutes up on the field!) is a bike that is responsive and swift for climbing and sprinting, but is designed to be able to take on epic 200+km rides without destroying the rider in the process. Furthermore, the geometry is well suited to address the fit needs of a wide variety of riders.
