Team Fit Werx Athlete Matthew Bach Wins Ironman Maryland!

Team Fit Werx athlete Matthew Bach won Ironman Maryland yesterday with a bike split of 4:41:46 and a total time of 8:51:19.  Matt came off the bike looking good and ran a very quick 3:00:25 marathon to set the standard.  What an accomplishment for the New Jersey triathlete and hopefully he’ll share a race report with us!

Matt has been working with Fit Werx fitter Joe LoPorto.  Joe lives in Bergen County, New Jersey and has been training and working out of both Fit Werx locations (Vermont and Massachusetts) over the past year.  Dean Phillips, lead fitter in MA, and Ian Buchanan (lead fitter in VT) feel that Joe has become a skilled and capable fitter during his studies and training and Matt’s results just add credence to these thoughts.  Joe is well equipped to help riders and triathletes reach their goals and all of us at Fit Werx look forward to watching just how far Joe goes and are glad to have him be a member of our family.

Many congratulations Matt and Joe!   Thanks for wearing the colors and giving it your best.
